Another successful carving event on the shores of Discovery Passage is in the books. Carvings have been moved to their new homes. Frank James Park in Willow Point will again look empty and forlorn and that means it’s time to start thinking about and planning for next year.

Campbell River Shoreline Arts Society, the group responsible for the annual Transformations on the Shore, will be holding its AGM at 7:00 PM on Tuesday October 24, upstairs at the Willow Point Lion’s Hall and we’re looking for you.

Are you new to town? Time to get involved in your new community? Interested in Chainsaw Carving? Want to be part of a team of volunteers? Come join us. We’re a small group who plan, organize, and fundraise to get world class carvers to participate. It’s not a lot of work and time and it sure is fun. If you’re interested we’d love to have you join us. Come on out to the AGM and get involved.
